I've been advocating plant medicine for quite awhile now. and one of the most asked questions I get is, what can I use to get rid of heartburn? Funny you should ask! I actually don't get heartburn, but I have a few close loved ones that do on a regular basis and this is what I recommend:
Peppermint is one of my favorite essential oils. I use it on a daily basis for focus and to aid in my respiratory health. One way that it can be used is by adding a drop of essential oil directly to the roof of your mouth. Another way would be to drink a glass of water with a drop of oil in it or by taking 1-2 drops in a veggie capsule.
This blend of essential oils is my go to for any stomach related issues. It has been a life saver for not only my immediate family, but for my fur babies as well (dogs, cat, horses). You can apply a drop directly into your bellybutton, take a drop internally under the tongue, rubbing over your stomach (with a carrier oil), or taking a drop or two in a veggie capsule.
Other Suggestions:
Cardamom , Black Pepper, or Zendorcrine
So, if you happen to have a little too much turkey, stuffing or pumpkin pie tomorrow, remember you have some natural alternatives to the OTC medicine you're used to!
