Several months ago, (maybe even a year ago) a friend of mine gave me a sourdough starter. I was so excited to join all my friends that have been taking part of this easy and healthy way to make your own bread! Fast forward to today...After two failed attempts to keep my starter alive, I have been inspired by another friend to give it another try after she fed our family a delicious sourdough pizza for lunch yesterday.
Here is the sourdough starter recipe I used from Jayden Copeland of Back Road Bloom. It was super easy to follow and knowing why I failed the last two times, my husband suggested I set myself a reminder on my phone to feed the starter. Needless to say, my alarm is set and I'm excited for its feeding tomorrow at 1pm! Stay tuned for updates!
